Board Meeting Notes

May 11, 2007

 

Mrs. Sue Helms, President, called the meeting of the Madison City Board of Education to order at 8:30 A.M. in the superintendent’s conference room at the Teacher Resource Center and Central Office.

 

The Board approved the superintendent’s recommendation to enter into a purchase and sale agreement with Gayle Wann Guy and William Farley Wann to purchase land for a new elementary school. 

 

Dr. Fowler announced that he will present information to the Board in June concerning the construction schedule for the new school. Dr. Fowler also discussed water damage that occurred in the server room at central office. 

 

The next meeting was scheduled for May 22, 2007, at 3:45 P.M. in Parlor “C” at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville, Alabama.
